people like you lie on the internet

And I'm suppose to automatically dismiss their stories just because you have preconceived beliefs? What do all these people have to gain from lying?

And then there are many in the medical field that believe there is a connection. And those are the same people that get slammed.

I want absolute proof that there is no connection before arrogantly claiming there is none. Not another vaxxed vs. unvaxxed study where the "unvaxxed" are merely the people that didn't receive the one specific vaccine being studied.

Could you link to studies/sources of medical professionals claiming there is a direct link between getting vaccinated and autism? (not the debunked one from a decade plus ago)

Also, yes you should be skeptical - there are a lot of people on the internet claiming Sandy Hook was a hoax or the Earth is flat. Don't you automatically dismiss their stories?

Naturally we would rather worry about plastic straws and someone asking questions about injecting their babies!

Wow that is probably the most unintelligent & no correlation case of whataboutism I've ever seen. Which isnt surprising in the least coming from an anti vaxxer. Like honestly that's a remarkable post.

Unless you're gonna show me examples of thousands of democrats online fighting for the right to throw needles on the streets and encouraging homelessness. Oh that's right, we're the ones who try to help homeless people while redcaps want to cut all assistance for them then whine like petulant children because these hopeless homeless people have the audacity to be dying on the streets in plain view of "good people."

FOH with your dumb bullshit.

You have to go out of your way to find a good doctor that will sit down and talk with you and be flexible on the vaccine schedule.

The sane reaction to most doctors disagreeing with your home research is "Gee perhaps I am wrong and doctors may know more than me" not "Clearly they are in on the Big Government/Big Pharma agenda to cull the herd/give everyone autism/brainwash the masses".

Medicine isn't a thing you haggle for. You don't go in with a diagnosis and bargain for doctors to agree with you. It's not like finding someone that can bake a cake to your specifications. There is nothing open-minded or intellectual about reading the Internet, making up some novel conclusion, and fishing for some 'doctor' that tells you what you were wanting to hear. Even if you think mainstream science is compromised, the above is not a scientific way of thinking. Or is the very concept of science a government planted idea?

Anti-vaxxers and the like heard "science is falsifiable" and think that means "everything the normie majority pushes is probably a lie and what I believe is definitely the truth and nothing can change my mind".

Side note: I am beyond sick and tired of autism being trotted around as some horrible curse. Can people please do their anti-vax bullshit without insulting the autistic community?

Vaccines dont cause autism.

Autism is decided during the gestation period of your fetus and well into its developmental stages.

My wife is a teacher who specializes in children with autism and shes seen many unvaccinated kids who have autism.

The only healthy conversation that can be had regarding this is the punishment of anyone who acts on their anti-vax beliefs. Theres is literally 0 legitimate reason for anti-vax people to exist.

Instead of wishing harm you be better off helping to educate them on why it's wrong not to vax, and give the proper information instead of foaming at the mouth (but everyone rather just get emotionally charged when that is not the right path to go).

Also it will go a long way to help alleviate their fears about vaccines, going for the hostile responses only reinforces their beliefs.

Let's not be like 4chan or Reddit.

If people think autism is worse than spreading deadly diseases (and it fucking isnt), then I dont know if those people are worth reasoning with. They also likely wont listen to reason and education, considering theyre fucking against vaccines because of a debunked study that was bullshit anyway.

Theres literally 0 reason to be anti-vax in 2019. The only people who shouldnt get them are those who have legitimate medical issues with getting the vaccine (ie theyre allergic).

Its interesting you brought up medical issues, I think some of these cases of side-effects that supposedly happen with vaccines because of previously unknown medical history within their family they didn't know they had (not speaking of autism just to clarify), and thus the hatred surrounding it with some people.

You be surprised how many Americans don't check their medical history.

For me I can't take Penicillin.

What if you had a kid with a debilitating injury caused by a vaccine?

And regarding medical history, how would a person automatically know they could have an adverse reaction to something until they actually get it? How would a person allergic to peanut butter know they are allergic before actually have tried it? The same logic applies to vaccines.

That's a good question really which I don't have a good answer for, I remember very rare cases of older youngsters who got one of their scheduled vaccines and had major neurological issues afterwards. The good thing about vaccines is that 99% of the time you won't get something debilitating in most common cases, I wish I could say one-size-fits-all but sadly the Human Body wasn't made to be like that for the few individuals out there that are out of the norm.

If anything I think vaccines need more research on this so vaccines will always work 100%.

Or at least is is what I've read, and researched (I'm not a medical expert on the subject but just know some things).

Also by neurological issues I'm not speaking of Austim, it was something else entirely that happened to her that did something to her face or something like that (which I can't remember)
