any good deals? any sketchy experiences?
I bought a few things. mostly good experiences but I had a bad one. a few years ago I purchased a scooter from a guy. he didn't speak very good english and he knew NOTHING about the bike he was selling. the scooter was in pretty rough condition and I was able to talk down the price $100. when I tried to get the bike registered at the DMV a few days later, they said the registration papers were not valid. tried to contact the seller but of course no answer. I was stuck with a paperweight. my first apartment was found on craigslist. nothing bad there. one time I applied for a job on craigslist, for some weird FB advertising thing. when I inquired about it, I got a very rude response back from the person that created the craigslist ad. he was also using some weird rainbow font that looked unprofessional. silly of me to think that was a legitimate job. --- pojr I summon it.
