I had to take a political science class in college (fuck me, $1k down the drain) and it is actually a thing for candidates to try to lose weight due to people not wanting candidates with "low self discipline." It was a whole topic we discussed.
I mean... to an extent, kinda makes sense when you consider some people could have that perception. It's not about whether it makes sense or not, it's based on the fact people CAN view things that way. --- Working in a team is great! It always helps to have someone else to blame. ...
