Dorothea has the advantage of being possibly the best non-lord in the game mechanically. She gets three of the best black magic spells, she's ludicrously good.

I mean pretty much the entire cast is broken so that's not really much a pro. There's no character in this game (besides hanneman) that can't destroy everything.

Some classes require multiple weapon types, also it's good for sword units to have a spare javelin for 2-range so a small amount of lance experience goes a long way for them

I also thought to get a couple people up to D rank in Bow so they can use any Ballista they come across. I've used them a handful of times that way but never in a situation where it saved the day or anything

I GUESS I can start dumping points into swords for her...pretty close to S for Faith, anyways.

God am I overleved. Didn't grind and I'm already 32-35 with everyone at chapter 15. Those statues are no joke.

Do you get all renown spent on stuff besides statues back between playthrough? I basically spent none of it in Blue Lions other than for the Prof level, so I wasn't sure. I'll probably wait until the Lunatic difficulty before doing Church if so, since I'll be able to boost everyone up to ease some of the burden a bit.

With her garbage strength, I don't get why it's even an option. I guess for Levin Sword...but in what situation with her will you need to use a Levin sword??

Now Flayn, SHE can use a Levin Sword. Dancer Flayn doing that consistent 75-100 damage at a 3 tile range even now.

Speaking of Levin Sword, BOY do I hate that Indra is a Crimson Flower exclusive.

If you mean Lysithea, her hidden talent is a combat art that uses magic and resistance as its scaling, so she's like genuinely scary with a sword.

If you mean Marianne, well... Again. There's magic scaling weapons she can use, including her crest!

Huh, so I guess there are paralogues post-skip that are only available if you've recruited other house students? I'm on Chapter 17 of Golden Deer, and I'm starting on a paralogue that involves both Ferdinand and Lysithea about rescuing Ferdy's father after he escapes from the Empire. That's cool.

Yeah, that's like...half the post skip Paralogues in the game.

In the first half there's a few cross house paralogues, but you can do those even without recruiting, it just means you won't get the reward if it's associated with a character not in your class.

Yeah, the Ferdinand/Lysithea Paralogue is not accessible in Crimson Flower.

I'd imagine CF Edelgard is more lenient on Ferdinand's father than in other routes.

Youll eventually need every single unit you can get in order to obtain paralogues for your other units, though, and theyre all arbitrary combinations who dont even get supports with each other.
I mean, one of the most important paralogues requires you have Leonie and Linhardt? Why those two?
