Current Events > Want to get a Switch, which of these options/games should I get?

Want to buy a switch for FE and the new Pokemon when they come out. I can currently get a bundle from Walmart, or wait until Switch Lite.

Options:
1a. Switch, Mario Odyssey, charging station $330

1b. Switch, Zelda botw, charging station $330

2. Wait for the switch lite since it's only $200 and the games I want to play don't really need a tv anyway. The bad side is I'll have to wait for it to be released, months after FE comes out

Because Pokemon and fire emblem are perfectly fine on a mobile system. I'm not too big on Zelda or Mario although i do enjoy them every once in a while.

I have an xbone for everything else.

Mario Odyssey probably won't work well on the Lite unless they update the game.

While I have played on the screen before, I 95% of the time use it in handheld mode, so I can see the appeal

Why get a charging station? The joycons charge automatically, and you can just plug a pro controller into the switchs USB port.

They're included in the bundles that are on sale now, is my guess.

Me personally, I like being able to play the Switch on TV, even as someone who anticipated playing mostly in handheld mode. Also, I'm very impatient, so the idea of waiting two months would be torture for me.

Not really. I don't play videogames too much anymore.

Smash is cool but I haven't been able to get really into it since it's hard to get consistent friends to play with.

Mario looks interesting. I loved sunshine and 64, but I read that Odyssey is extremely easy.

I really liked wind waker and oot, but I've only heard botw is basically dumbed down Skyrim and not really like other Zelda's.

I don't care about the other games that I can get bundled.
