Plus its a bad argument the womens team is far far far superior to the rest of the world and its lopsided like the mens basketball team it just doesnt make sense from an argument standpoint to say they deserve a huge pay day when the game is more a step back rather than revolutionary. The USWNT deserves equal pay. Yeah, with the women's team being so much more successful than the men's team, one wonders why they're still less popular for people to actually watch. The USMNT hadn't been playing that well at all but none of the teams they played had a remote chance of beating them. Also, female goalkeepers are smaller in size and the goal posts are the same size as the men's, but yet there are barely more 2-3 goals scored in a match (ignoring the Thailand match) despite so many penalties being given out. The lack of quality of soccer being played coupled with the relative lack of goals make women's soccer less entertaining to watch.
