Just the other day I was comparing JRPGs on the two systems, and I came to the conclusion that the PS2 is better in that regard (not by a huge amount though). The SNES JRPGs are just that bit more basic on average (that's not always a bad thing, e.g. in Chrono Trigger, but often I want a bit more depth or content). Both consoles are about much more than JRPGs of course, but we tend to focus on them here (probably because guides are particularly useful for them). Spooking posted... A lot of the games on the SNES got ported over to PS1 and PS2 can play PS1 games, so... I'll go with PS2. Now some of these numbers might be misleading, but: PS2: 106* 2600: 101** PS3: 97 PS1: 54 PC: 38 SNES: 36* GBA: 29 DS: 22 GCN: 21 NES: 19 Wii: 9 GB: 9* N64: 7** 3DS: 6 GG: 3 counting each game on a collection individually one of those retro rerelease systems with a bunch of games stored on it includes GB Color *only got one very recently --- 53 LIII 0b110101 p16 0x35 <cite>DevsBro posted [p:923972023] in Better lib...
