Despite being the brand famous for having popularized the Magnum-sized condom the ones in the black-and-gold wrapper, for those unfamiliar Trojan condoms is now stepping into the sociocultural arena to address penis shaming.

Just in time for Pride Month, the condom and intimacy products manufacturer is hoping to pair its support of the LGBTQ+ community with a new campaign designed to inspire men to take pride in their penises.

According to the results of Trojans study, 60 percent of guys report that they are unhappy with the size or shape of their manhood. These high numbers may not be particularly shocking, especially when the same data reports that 61 percent of adults, both men and women, have judged the size and shape of a man's penis.

With this in mind, Trojan will be launching a new hashtag #PrideInMine and will be taking to the streets in the Big Apple for WorldPride NYC in support of this initiative. Youll also be able to join in on the campaign with ice cream characters that let you easily share your pride for your penis.

With #SizeQueen trending and a small penis emoji apparently on the horizon, there can be little doubt that penis shaming is a very big deal particularly for men on the shorter side of the sliding scale. From playground teasing to locker room taunts to social media slams from ex-girlfriends or lovers, men the world over are quite familiar with the sensitivity associated with body shaming regarding their personal equipment.

The intimacy and family-planning product manufacturer also unearthed a seriously dark side to the data, as well. More than 6 in 10 of the men who reported that they were unhappy with their private parts also engaged in sexual practices that they considered to be dangerous or unsafe.

Men should be proud of their penis, no matter its structure or size. That's a message worth hearing.

I'm content with my size. I'm more of a grower than shower though :P

Mine is a lot thinner than average. Despite this, no one has EVER said anything about it. The most awkward thing that has happened related to my size is that people are like "Oh, it's so big" when it isn't (it's 6 inches and thin).

It's big enough that it works, that's all people seem to really care about. Plus it has a really nice shape. I'd rather have a small one that feels good and looks good than a big ugly one.

I'm reasonably content with my size. It's average. Since I'm an inch or two below average in height, I'd like to think that makes me proportionally above average.

Theres very real big dick discrimination from a safe sex perspective, because American condoms are not adequate for something like 20% of the population. Between what? There are a large variety of condom sizes. Its funny how bringing up this genuine issue always brings out the insecurities in people. And its not like Trojan helped with their marketing.

For the record, magnums arent much bigger than regular condoms. But magnum xls exist and are actually larger condoms, though theyre still not going to work safely or comfortably for a decent sized portion of the population.
