Far Harbour is one of the best fallout related things Bethesda has done. Nuka world is decent, same with automatron.

It's not a good fallout game per se. But it is a solid shooter in the setting.

Far Harbor was great until the puzzle

I did the puzzles, once, and I was annoyed that it could only be completed with a specific solution. I found a solution that didn't use all the blocks on the final puzzle, and it wouldn't complete until I used the preset solution. Now I just use the mod.

Nuka World was dull as hell. I'm not a villain, have no interest, so I just killed everything.

Automotron was nice, it allowed me to build robots. But when I assigned them to Caravan duty, my twin armed gattling laser Sentry's would become Protectitrons (or whatever they are called). Because the RNG that determines if a caravan guard lives or dies, would reset the Caravan's back to their default setting if they "died", and loose all those expensive and powerful upgrades.

Most of the DLC is village-building stuff, or situations that requires a certain level to start/be competent at it (I think the robot one is LV20, Nuka-World has Lv30+ enemies?). It's easy to see why that knowledge would put users off, especially since one of the main draws of Nuka-World (bandit camps) requires going 75% of the way through its campaign, lol. I guess you can scrounge up a Fat Man or power armor to cheese some of those harder battles.

My favorite thing about Far Harbor is being able to start it at LV1, though.

I always have at least one villain character in any Bethesda dlc so I loved this dlc as the main game every faction had at least thought their ideals where noble and I could generally see at least a grain of good in their ideas.

Plus ever since 3 I wanted to play a raider.

Far Habor was almost an exact copy of Point Lookout.
