Im referring to the abortion thing. I forget who said it and I dont care enough to go look it up.

But if they started saying stuff like God told me I had to raise taxes and I said yes Lord, it shall be done. then even Christians should object.

it's meant like an excuse "using" the God told me to do this defense works wonders. it's how abortion is being outlawed when it really shouldn't.

No person should ever say that they were told by God to do something or that they represent him, even priests and clergymen.

It's presumptuous to espouse that and humans regularly do shitty, immoral things which means you shouldn't associate shitty human actions with the will of a divine, almighty God. You debase your religion and yourself.
