The game is guaranteed to be super dark and edgy, because every time past FF7 itself that Square has touched the setting it's been a gray humorless and miserable experience. As a result of the above, fun stuff is going to be missing. Crossdressing into Don Cornero's mansion and getting assailed by beautiful muscle men in the Honeybee Inn, Yuffie repeatedly disguising herself as random people throughout the game, goofy anime side adventures in Wutai... I am basically expecting nothing except the core story with maybe a few small diversions due to the episodic nature of the game. It makes no sense to release the game as episodic unless you're being funneled between story beats, or else certain episodes would have massively less content than others.
