tbh I'm sure there's a high chance I won't do any of these things, but here's 3 main things I'm focusing on



- changing my diet around. eating more healthy things and cooking more. my focus isn't to lose weight, but to see if this changes my mood and makes me feel better.

- my future. I really need to start thinking about it. I recently applied for school and financial aid. I'm going to take a few college classes this semester.

- going to therapy regularly. I need it bad. I recently got setup with a counselor, so far I've only had 1 meeting. my next one is on january 2nd.



what are your new years resolutions?

The best thing I can do for myself now is stay away from nicotine I suppose. I stopped vaping in October but Ive quit and relapsed many times before. If I can keep this quit through the next year I would be pretty happy with just that. Of course I have a number of ongoing goals but thats the biggie.

One thing I noticed about cooking for myself is that it's a lot like working out. As in, if you make excuses to not do it for a day then it completely throws your momentum in the garbage. Gotta cook yourself at least one home made meal every day to keep the right mindset.

I also wipe down all my dishes right after I cook so that nothing sticks. This makes dishes a lot less of a chore in the long run.

Quitting smoking and drinking. I'm down to 2 or 3 cigs a day from the 12-15 I was smoking at the start of 2018. Drinking is tougher since I still have a beer every other day or so, but I'm not getting drunk or anything like I was last year.

That's about it. I might apply for law school since I got a 171 on the LSAT recently, but I don't think that would be a good choice for me mentally or financially..

IMO I don't care to make a 5 star meal. but I'll unfreeze some broccoli and make mashed potatoes
