i'm downloading a bunch of games and it's on my 5G network and still feels slow. The good thing is most games aren't over like 5 gigs i guess. That's like 5-6 minutes on my laptop at full speed but 15 gigs on the switch is like an hour and a half for some reason

Do a connection test.

Yea downloading on wifi is abysmal. It took me like 5 hours to download 20gigs and I have a 300mbs connection

The switch seems to cap the rate at around 40mbps down (averages 25 - 30)

sounds about right. I literally have the switch right next to the router and I made sure my ps4/x1 aren't on the 5G band and neither is my laptop or phone. Still capped at 42
