Just watched the first episode of the 2nd arc. Is the second half better than the first?

Good and bad is subjective. Even if I said the second half is good, you don't know me and have no point of reference for my opinions.

There are 4 quadrants to the show, from establishing the troop to Simon taking the helm to be the leader to where I assume you are, the 3rd quadrant where they're dealing with situations where they can't blast through their problems without appeasing a crowd. If you didn't care for the first half, drop it. The 3rd sets up for the 4th quadrant where it follows the theme of the show at a much, much, MUCH bigger scale.

I personally think the second half is leaps and bounds better than the first. The first was generic Saturday morning cartoon stuff while the latter just goes above and beyond imo
