The monsters games are all great. 5 is better than most ff games. 7 is okay. I know 8 has a huge following. 9 was great when it came out. I hear 11 is amazing. Ff? I hear 4 and 9 are great - but never played either. 5-7 are good. Tactics is good - but gets undeserved praise, when tactics ogre is its far superior predecessor. Some of the spinoffs were okay - like the cart game (lol) - but not good games by any means. Slimes > mogs.
