I have dozens of projects in various stages of development, but most of them are board games, not video games.

but, I have a very hard time staying focused on one of them at a time. I get bored, or stuck, or busy, and they get back-burner'd.

Yeah, it's tough.

My problem is the art so I just quit on em unless it's an easy board/classic arcade game.

I made a couple 2D side scrollers in Game maker. Realized making videogames sucks and threw that idea out at age 15.

Yeah I try a few times a year and then give up.

Either it gets too complicated or fucking assets are way too expensive. But making my own characters? Ugh, that's hard too.

Sometimes I think if I could just learn one damn aspect instead of trying to do a whole game myself, maybe I could join a small indie team and make some money or something and slowly move up.

But the appeal of making a mobile game like those cheap ftp anime games is just so damn tempting. Even if I could only make like a few hundred to a thousand bucks on a game I spent $0-$100 on would make a good start.

Learning unity takes so much patience though. I'm probably gonna try again when I get my new laptop tbh.
