Jon, Arya, Sansa, Dany, Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion all die in the first 10 minutes of episode 1. The white walkers are revealed to be a bunch of kids dressed up as ghosts for fun and not a real threat. The dragons are revealed to have never been real and just a figment of Dany's imagination and everyone was just pretending to see them as well.

A new character named Mustache comes out of nowhere and discovers an ancient spaceship hidden in the forest and travels to another planet

The rest of the season is a space opera involving aliens and has nothing to do with Westeros

Nevermind that it's a trilogy and it will obviously have a profound effect on how the 3rd movie has to be written. AKA it'll be damage control the movie.

The sequel trilogy is just a disjointed narrative that doesn't go anywhere. It's really sad.

you know the revelation about jon last season? well, in reality his "parents" staged it all for no one to see and really he's just some bastard that was actually mothered by catelyn stark

dany finds out she isn't a targaryen when her maid who was previously unseen the last 7 seasons runs out of hair dye

tyrion actually isn't an imp, but a little boy who suffered a head trauma and only thought he was a dwarf. he finds this out when he goes to put on his pants in the morning and they're too short. also his beard was placed on his face by his other squire (not pod) who was also unseen the last 7 seasons

jaime actually didn't lose his hand, he just had a really bad papercut. it was so traumatic that he only thinks he's missing his hand

cersei defeats the white walkers by using the wildfire under the city which awakens a lannister dragon (it has gold hair on it's head) and hyperspeed rams all the walkers into submission. she then walks out from the burning corpses with pink hair and proclaims herself queen of the world
