I never seem to see people do it. Is it against the TOS? Can topic creators just not be bothered to take the extra steps? I think I also heard someone say it was something only alt-right people do. Is that a sentiment that is held by anyone?

I assume a lot of people don't read referenced articles because they don't want to give the sources their clicks.
