issues like bullying, unpleasant working places, etc. They don't seem to care if someone starts on a Monday, and is gone by Friday.

Why is this?

The goal of a business is to make money, businesses generally hate their employees because they have to pay them which accomplishes the exact opposite of what they're trying to do.

I was doing an internal audit of our HR department a few months ago and the chief HR woman was like, "yeah we expect new hires to only last a year or two until we replace them and that's our new company montra!" And I was like, "do you want to keep them around if they put in good work?" And she goes, "no, it's cheaper just to get new workers every few years" and I was like???

Well yes, employees expect raises and additional benefits the longer they're there. Why pay loyal, hard-working employees more to stick around when you can get peons who will do it for minimum wage?
