they're falling apart and won't stick together... should i just heat them up in a pan with some milk and butter? I have some homemade chicken and noodles and i can't have the crappy mashed potatoes ruin it. but i love mashed potatoes with chicken and noodles

They should be fine to eat. One way to eat leftovers is to make them into a patty and heat in a skillet. Makes the outside brown and crispy.

Make what we call in sweden potato pancakes. Mix in milk, egg and flour and it should be bit runny. Then heat up a pan and cook the pancakes in butter.
