GundamChao just stated, "You don't need to keep yourself composed constantly."

I never allow myself to relax due to fear being hurt.

Have you thought of writing a book? It seems to bother you, not being able to have a job. But if you can type, you can write a book. If you can write a book, you can get it published. And most authors find it cathartic to be able to channel all their emotions into their work.

About?

I could write an article about MTM1's history.

Well, if you write about your life you would provide a perspective that very few other people in the world could. Article makes it sound impersonal and third-person, like guide-writing. Why not try going in a different, more personal direction and focus on getting your passion into your writing? Because for all your talks of disinterest, you seem to have plenty of passion floating around under the surface. Talk about your life, your dreams, your frustrations, pour it all out. It's emotion that people connect and relate to.

I don't really have much of a life besides here, home, and random doctor appointments. I fear developing an identity and being judged. In fact, the fear of being judged probably limits me more than I realize.

hey TC, did you ever go to MDA summer camp as a kid? I don't have muscular dystrophy, but there were a lot of kids there with your condition when I used to go. it was always a lot of fun.
