Fortunately, we all braked in time (I had to shift into another lane to avoid collision) and nobody got hit

I got hit by a speeding car as a kid, which was the driver's fault, as she was outright speeding around a sharp turn.

I was also in a small accident as the passenger in my friend's car. It was my friend's fault, since he looked away from the road as he pulled out for whatever reason.

Two, I was driving but not at fault for either. No injuries but significant damage (covered by their insurance each time)

one: coming up on an intersection with backed up traffic. Crossed over into left turn lane (in the opening in the lines so didn't do it prematurely), and someone pulls out of a BK parking lot through a gap people in the lanes left open and they pull all the way through into the left turn lane as I'm coming through so I hit them on their front end sticking out. Wrecks my front bumper and right side lights, also pops the front right tire

two: dude in front of me brakes full stop in the middle of the travel lane signaling a left turn (instead of using the left turn lane). I stop hard behind him but he person behind me tries to swerve and clips my corner wrecking my rear bumper and right tail light area.

When I was a kid. Someone sped through a red light and hit just the right spot to not kill anyone and just spin us around a few times

I've been in a car that was rear-ended moderately hard, my mom had to go to the hospital for a neck injury.

As a driver, I accidentally rear-ended someone, super low impact in a parking lot because I was stupid and not paying attention for a second and took my foot off the brake. They got out, saw they had no damage, flipped me off, and drove away.

As a driver I have been involved in two. One was when I first was learning to drive someone was going at least 20MPH in a Target parking lot while I was trying to back up. In the effort to evade them I hit someone else's car. The second was when I deer jumped out right in front of my car where there was no chance to stop because of the speed limit being 55MPH.

I got rear-ended by a nice old man taking his grand daughter to lunch. We had a good time talking to each other.

Got a $500 check to fix my bumper and just spent $50 at a junk yard to get a new one. Would do again

Two minor ones that left a tennis ball at best dent in the car as a passenger. Dunno if I'd count those, but they technically count. Fast forward nearly 20 years with nothing but close calls and now this time as a driver one. Doing 45 through a green, oncoming turn lane a pickup made a left through a red due to error. Caught the left rear door and quarter panel on their left bumper/fender, 5200ish usd in damage for just my end.

It was so perfectly timed in that, just 1 second one way it'd be a pants changing experience only. 1-1.5 seconds the other I'd T-bone the passenger door at 40-45 while probably crushing his lady friend and a kid.

It wasn't my fault and nothing I could really do, but the sinking regret/guilt feeling lingers because it wasn't awesome and could have been so much worse.

I was a passenger when a car hit ours. Fortunately, no one got hurt.

Yes, twice.

Once, I was in a single-car crash into a ditch in the side of the road. It was either that or hit another car head-on, I figured this was the safer option (as much as I would've liked to smash their car too just as a fuck you for driving so far out of their lane).

The other was due to sunstrike, I was slowing down and pulling over at the time but another car spawned right in front of me.

Yes, my mom has been in quite a few when I was a kid. No one was ever seriously hurt, thankfully.

I have never hit anyone, but a lady did rear-end me once. It wasn't that bad of an accident and she paid to fix my car.

not a real accident, but when I was younger early 20s, I got too confident at night taking curves in the country/foothills and took out a small section of fence and totaled the car. I didn't get hurt at all, but it was really embarrassing and sad because I ruined MY car my dad got for me.

#1 - Passenger, my mom was driving (I was 12). She was turning left, guy gave her the OK to go sign, but just as we began the turn a woman left her work up the street and floored it for some reason (it was a red light, IDK why she did it). We got t-boned, it literally broke the frame on my side of the car. And when her husband gets there, he says, in full hearing of the cop, "Who'd you hit this time?"

#2 - I was in my 20s, snuck under the red light by getting right on this woman's rear bumper, then was revving my engine and my left foot slipped off the brake pedal. Didn't really do any damage to either car, but it was ruled my fault, and I got a point on my license.

#3 - Driving to work in a snowstorm, doing 70 on bad tires. Started to skid, turned into the skid and recovered, but forgot to turn back OUT of the skid and ended up in a ditch. Had to walk 7 miles back home in the snow, did $600 damage to the wheel and axel. My (dumb) fault, but at least it only affected me.

#4 - About to pull out into the right lane of a 4-lane highway, green light, only one car coming, in the leftmost (furthest from where I was) lane. Woman in front of me starts to turn, I follow but then check left one more time, when was the exact moment she decided to stop for literally no fucking reason. I slammed into her (Accord vs. Grand Cherokee); buckled my hood, knocked my radiator from its mount, killed my bumper, and destroyed a headlight assembly. Her rear bumper had a scuff mark. -_- 3K in repairs to my poor Honda. Took a bunch of pictures right afterward and my insurance company was able to use them to deny her ridiculous claims and get it ruled no-fault.

Car and motorcycle accidents.

3 in cars.
-One as a kid where my mom hit black ice and rear ended a car (not injured).
-Got hit by a semi that made a right turn without a blinker from the inside lane while I was beside him.
-Last one I hit black ice in my Mustang at 60kmh and hit the dividing wall on the freeway. Car was a write off and I had some minor injuries.

3 on motorcycles.
-First one I got hitt by a car while slowing down for a stop light. He didn't look and just pulled off the curb without looking and clipped my rear tire. Hurt my should a bit but not too bad.
-Second one I was hit by a drunk driver on a scooter who decided to make a u-turn across 3 lanes of traffic. I saw him a split second before making contact which gave me enough time to swirve to my right a bit instead of t-boning him (I think if I t-boned him, some if not all of us would have been dead). I managed to keep my bike upright but tore my MCL in 2 places doing so. His passenger broke her leg. Tried to claim it was my fault but I was lucky and had multiple witnesses that said otherwise. Still haven't received a penny or so much as a sorry from them (he didn't have insurance either).
-Third one was minor. They covered the road in loose gravel midway into a turn with no street lights. As soon as the bike touched the gravel the wheel kicked out and laid us down. Luckily was only doing about 35kmh. Happened 2 weeks after the previous previous accident.

Car accidents were all in Canada. Motorcycle accidents all in Thailand.
