Team Rocket use a thunder stone on Pikachu which makes it evolve into Raichu who is rescued by Ash, but Raichu is grumpy and strongly dislikes Ash which makes him upset. No matter what Ash does, Raichu refuses to follow him.

But its not Ashs Pikachu who turned into Raichu, but he believes it is his Pikachu. His own Pikachu is with another trainer who is looking for Ash to swap Pikachus after the mix-up. The other trainer was too poor to afford a thunder stone and when reunited with Raichu, Raichu is happy to be with own trainer.

An army of Lapras is becoming more agitated at a coastal town living a luxurious, and very wasteful lifestyle. Eventually the Lapras take action against the coastal town as its pollution is starting to seriously harm the Lapras. Ash and Pikachu look to take action, but have to pause when they realize they believe opposing sides. Pikachu takes to the Lapras, and Ash to the entitled. Will their bond finally break? Is Pikachu blind to natural evolution? Is Ash enfranchised in an unsustainable way of living?

The Squirtle Squad is back in town, but this time they are up to no good. They have been kidnapping Woman to take back to their cave to make squirtle babies with! A group of brave adventures set out to save them, but they are met with a horrible fate. Luckily, man in full armor shows up and saves the one of them at the last moment.

Together they set out to get rid of the rest of the Squirtle, and the spinoff series "Squirtle Slayer" is officially announced.
