True bidets are too expensive, take up too much space, not to mention new plumbing, while the thought of an in the bowl bidet is more disgusting than the concept of TP. Plus the average American showers once a day so it's not really a big deal.

- If you got poo on you, you'd immediately wash and scrub with water and soap
- Might not shower for another 12 hours. Long time to keep poo on you
- Why not be clean in the first place
