Are you guys for real? That's extremely inappropriate for an adult to say to a child in most circumstances... let alone when he's expected to be professional. He could have said something like "get out there and play in the snow" if he genuinely wanted to have a positive impact. This is just being a garbage person.

That would be if his support system didn't take him home and baby him with ice cream to make him feel better. At 9 years old it's completely the parents fault. If I had a kid that was getting pudgy I would bring up all the stuff fat people can't do daily and other stuff they go through. And then give him all the tools to prevent it. If he is still fat at 17 then I probably accept it and let him do as he wants without the daily reminders. --- Name checks out ... Copied to Clipboard!
