because Pygmalion was too dark for daytime TV. Megalo Dale would have to play instead of Pygmalion during KOTH reruns.

Pygmalion was a good episode I didn't think it was that dark several Simpson Halloween specials were worse.

A mentally ill man threatens Peggy and functionally makes Luanne a slave in order to fulfill his desire for a "perfect family" which is the family he saw on a label, and one in which he's the pig of all things, breaks down, and is slaughtered.

It's pretty damn dark.

I probably mixed up some of the details of the episode, but it's been ages since I've seen it.
