As I posted here last week (topic has since purged), I will pay US $100,000.00, a substantial portion of my life savings, to any entrant who finishes the CBX contest with a 100% perfect bracket (150/150 matches, 700 pts). It can be an official entry or your only fun entry (no alts) for non-US residents. When I first announced, there were still numerous perfect brackets on the leaderboard, so this is not without financial risk to me, and there are still 2 perfects right now.

Out of generosity, I have decided to extend my offer to all perfect minus 1s, who are eligible to win $10,000.00 from me. It's not life-changing money but will be enough for you to buy every mainstream console for the next few console generations. As a bonus, the mistake can be in ANY ROUND, even the FINAL, as long as you correctly pick 149 out of 150 matches. Depending on the round, your final score may be between 624 to 699 points out of 700.

Or at least, I'm assuming that's how these work in order to not void one of your brackets? I've never done multiple brackets before.

This is a meaningless bet. We're down to two perfects and we're not even halfway through the first round. Through sheer probability, the odds of one remaining perfect is essentially zero.

Never say never. Someone just won the Mega Millions jackpot last week. Odds were 1 in 302 million, even less than that considering there was only a single winner.

Anything is possible.

And when I first posted this, there were a lot more than 2 perfects. Which is why I'll be expanding my giveaway to allow 1 mistake.
