By that I mean, each day, there is less of a need to wear a suit. Back in the 60s, you had to wear a suit for basically everything. Now, its only really for parties. It seems as if only rich people wear suits on an everyday basis nowadays

Opposite. I was never a suit guy. I only wear them at weddings and memorials. I like comfort over style. They don't have to be mutually exclusive tho

I'd be a suit guy but nice clothes are expensive. And I got a crappy name tag job so wouldn't have much daily use.

If someone wore a suit to a wedding they would be laughed out of the church You're expected to wear a button-up shirt tucked in with a belt. Considering most of the older men are grossly overweight it's not a good look. I generally just wear a smaller button-up shirt and don't tuck in because I've always found stuffing your shirt in your pants to be weird, and it's also nice to not have your groin outlined by your jeans. ... People can still wear them if they want, people who don't like to or can't afford multiple suits for day to day life don't need to. Everybody wins?

Not really. I hate wearing anything more formal than business casual (and I really dont like business casual).
In terms of manners and speech, however, I am sad to see what they have become. One thing that really gets me is when people respond to a question with the word what or yeah. I was taught that that was very rude and it really makes me have more respect for those who have good manners. --- #MakeFinalFantasyGreatAgain ... Copied to Clipboard!

I am required to wear a suit except during the summer. They're much more lenient. Well, it's not so much a requirement as it is not wanting to be the one guy not in a suit. You don't want to be that guy. It's really not that bad. How's that one song go. Every girl crazy bout a sharp dressed man!

I love sports coats and suits. I get them really cheap at second hand stores and then get them tailored.
I used to wear them all the time when I was a weather man. Then working at a university I felt overdressed all the time, that is until I got a promotion at another university. Once you go up high enough suits are expected at events. Tonight I am attending a black tie gala and I am trying out my new bow tie. I do appreciate when I see a man or woman put effort into looking classy. Not even a full suit, but if they can match their colors, wear clothes that fit, layer appropriately, and accessorize properly, I will always give them a compliment. --- Congratulations! The only time I wear a suit is weddings or funerals. My companies Christmas party is the only formal gathering I attend on a regular basis and the dress code is business casual or holiday apparel. I chose ugly Christmas sweaters and jeans everytime.
