Last summer I was talking to this cute, kinda young girl (22) who was staying with her parents during summer break. There were a lot of things we didn't agree on, but otherwise I thought everything was fine. Finally when school started back up she dumped me and started dating other university guys.

We were together for two years in college, moved to different places after and did long distance for two more years. Over time we grew distant since it was hard to see each other and we decided to mutually part ways. Amicably and such. We don't talk but I don' have any issues with her.

There were too many differences between us, not able to meet up as often due to distance n my work schedule, both knowing we're toxic people and it wouldn't work out long term. We tried a fwb thing but it just fizzled and was overall kinda awkward.

But she was kind of a strange girl. Like, she was super lovey dovey whenever she needed something, then she would be withdrawn and cold once she got what she wanted. And then the cycle would repeat.

At some point I just lost my trust in her.

We had nothing in common, it was mostly sexual and reinforcing each other's mental illness, she was bad at communicating clearly especially about emotions and she was in love with her ex. We had a big fight and she was announcing her new relationship status with her ex a couple of weeks later.

I've been there.

Except it was more like she was so fucked up and so unaware of it that my mental illness was some magically put on hold for a long time so I had the energy to deal with hersl shit.

That one left me fucked up for a good while.

idk. we hooked up a couple times, and she slowly faded out on me. we never really had a "talk", but last time we hooked up she was like,"this is bad, because I actually like you". I told her I really liked her too and was cool to follow her lead on how to continue.

she slowly faded out on me from there. She reached out to me a few times after that, but the last month or so I've texted her a few times and she's ghosted completely. I saw her 10 days ago at a get together and we walked out together, but we didn't say much other than "how are you?" "good" "good" and then we walked in separate directions to our cars.

I'm moving on obviously but kinda bummed about it still. I've been posting about here on and off.

Last one was an escort and a mom. Nuff said.

One before that was a near perfect relationship until a really bizarre ending where she essentially switched from anti depressants to bi polar meds and became a space cadet and was really distant.

My luck with women is generally incredibly low, although obviously a lot of it is brought upon myself.

She would clam up when she has a problem with something, and she'd assume the worst of most of what I said, and so instead of talking about the subject, I have to explain to her how I didn't mean what she twisted my words out to. Like if I said "Today's a nice day," she'd say "What was wrong with yesterday? Why didn't you like yesterday?!"

There were times where she would just outright lie about the situation when she had to defend herself. And she's catholic, which is a whole other can of worms. I had to walk away because the stubborn chick wasn't interested in a mutual partnership.
