I don't think a Waluigi rally is impossible, but the whole "Waluigi for Smash" fallout got on people's nerves in short order. To this day, you can't mention Waluigi on the Smash Bros. subreddit without getting downvoted to hell.

Him and Sans are too prone to anti-voting IMO. I think Geralt and D.Va are the ones with genuine rally potential. I also think Cuphead would have a shot at an extended bandwagon if he was in, say, Monika's place.

The problem with Waluigi is that there's an outside shot of /r/nintendo or /r/gaming trying to rally him, in which case he might win the whole damn thing. Aside from that, he still has the joke/casual support (and FF7 has fallen enough) that he can compete with Aerith with only a small rally boost. (Allen was smart to put this as a 2/15. It's a classic trap match and whoever wins is probably going all the way to the division final.)

While I do understand that you'd feel the way that you do, I really think you should humbly take the time to consider that there are a host of other Alternatives. I say for example, I am sure that you realize that it is indeed quite possible that he will in fact make it on past the first round of the tournament. Have faith.
