Some people will eat Lobster and Shrimp but not Crawfish despite looking and tasting the same because they're tiny and there's a lot of work for not a lot of meat. Something like clams have a similar amount of meat to Crawfish but the work required to eat them isn't much. For the most part the shells open during cooking and you can just pull the meat out.
