French toast > pancakes, and crispy bacon shouldn't even be considered bacon, it's awful. Slightly crispy but still floppy is the best bacon, and should be the only way its cooked.

bacon should be removed when it is still slightly soft and then firm up once removed. crispy bacon is ruining bacon.

If by crispy you mean crunchy and brittle, hell no. But if you really mean the bacon is firm enough that it doesn't flop when held by the end and there are no raw areas, then hell yes.
