I always thought I was known for being the poor black kid with no dad. I revealed this to a friend a couple of years ago and he claimed that wasn't how other people saw me at all. He claimed that people mostly saw me as a sporty guy who was decent at academics. I don't know how true that is or isn't.

The stoners, metal heads and other bully types didn't like me.

The jocks never really gave me any trouble even though I wasn't one of them.

Some of the girls gave me attention because I had that celebrity boy look.

Never rally gave it thought because I was just a dumb kid and was growing up in borderline poverty.

So I didn't think I counted for anything.

Probably why I am (then and now) hated and despised by the whole wide world.
