Someday the normal Batman will live in the Batman beyond time and they will have to push Batman beyond further into the future

Isnt the Batman we know really old in Batman Beyond and the Batman in that time is a new character that's a clone of the Batman we know?

Maybe that's the Batman you know.

Yes. But what I mean is that eventually in the stories Bruce Wayne will be born in the future. It's already been retconned that he is now a millennial. There was a scene in the comic once a few years back where an old female friend from college talks to Bruce about the time she tried to introduce Bruce to anime.

I think currently he was born in the mid or late 80s. I'm actually older than Batman slightly now. They have to keep changing when he was born so he always stays the same

Yea it's pretty crazy. In the original return of Cap he was only in the ice for 20 years

Yes but his character really is hugely tied to ww2. It wouldn't be the same.

New 52 really messed that up. DC insisted that the entire Batman canon from before New 52 still happened but at the same time they insist that it's only been 5 years. So somehow Bruce goes through 4 Robins in 5 years and it just makes no sense

smh...

Crisis on Infinite Earths was probably the biggest mistake in comic book history.
