There's 3 Kid Icarus characters. Pit, Dark Pit and Palutena. There are more Metroid characters in then KI, and 3 of them are just variations on Samus.

Which is pretty much the entire roster of plausible characters from the series, unless we start bringing in ones that showed up in a single game (like some of the MPH hunters).

Please be Geno. I've been hoping for him since before brawl, and voted for him with my wallet when they released the Geno mii fighter costume in smash 4.

never thought about gardevoir as a potential character but i'd be cool with it. not sure how she'd be made into an echo fighter though, and i don't really see her being super unique. maybe a mewtwo echo with fairy moves?

out of those though, definitely shadow, unfortunately. would have much rather had knuckles.

isaac's assist trophy hasn't been shown yet though so could be a good sig.

An echo character is what they're calling clones. So Dark Samus is an echo of Samus. Daisy is an echo of Peach, etc.

But they're only using it in extreme cases. Even Dr. Mario isn't an echo.

If we are talking about information from official sources, the only official reference made that might hint at upcoming characters on your poll was that of Golden Sun.

If we're talking about how it seems like there are Echos of everything now, Shadow seems likely.

If we are talking about unconfirmed "leaks", that would be Gardevoir.
