I have an Uber account. It works mostly because I live where lots of Uber drivers live. Uber drivers on the average are more professional than the average bus driver. I would say that the very best bus drivers are as good as any professional anywhere.

Hard to pick the worse Uber experience I have had but a long ride with a driver who was wiping his nose with his fingers and then waving his fingers is in the running.

Recently I had a ride with a driver and two other passengers who acted too familiar and could not accept that I could ignore it. The driver offered to let me out of the car twice (11 pm in an area I would not walk around in at noon) and I ignored the helpful suggestion. I only marked him down to 3 stars because I got to where I was going in a reasonable length of time.

I got up at 4 am to watch the meteor shower. I noticed dual messages from Uber saying you have not been barred from the Uber app but a driver told us that you made him uncomfortable. I think that this is Uberese for you may be barred. I responded and I got a second message which is so weird that I would have cut and paste it. It seemed to be saying that as a rider I am responsible to other Uber users to give them a heads up on poorly behaving drivers and passengers. Also Uber support told me that for now I have access to their app.

My objection to providing feedback on intrusive behavior is a conservative one. I do not go around making videos of peeps with substandard social skills and without evidence it is silly to accuse someone.

Reason for topic

Discuss (my impression that) Uber's says that riders are required to report drivers and passengers.

Wanted to find out if other Uber users have gotten a warning. My guess from responses is that you guys would not be able to figure out that Uber warned you.

I don't use Uber and I don't know anyone who does. Me, my friends, and my family members all have cars, and we drive them.

Imagine living in a flyover trash state like that. Enjoy your poor man city. FYI, you can own a car and Uber so you're not a **** and drive drunk.
