What's wrong with making coming over here easier and make it pointless for them to try to come over illegaly. Clearly there is a reason they are not trying the legal method. That's what we want them to do right?

Deporting people immediately is wrong as you'll likely deport people with a right to be in the country. Furthermore if you are deporting them immediately, then where are you going to deport them to?

we're really close to seeing outright support of this tbh. I'm sure some already do support the idea and most of them are just keeping quiet until it seems more socially acceptable. I remember a lot of those types defending Israel for shooting at Palestinians as they tried to cross one of their borders

And someone who lives here legally will have evidence they live here legally.

They don't always carry it with them, and if you are deporting them immediately, they aren't going to have the chance to gather it.
