Bisoprolol for my heart.

I *did* take Lisinopril, but it spiked my Potassium level (to 8 when it was meant to be 3.4-5 apparently) and lowered my blood pressure (which was/is already low) too much, so I got taken off it. I was ill for a while (and ended up getting double pneumonia which nearly killed me), and it wasn't until after that when my cardiologist realized that the tablet was fucking me up. I'm not sure if it could have even contributed to me getting pneumonia (or made me less able to fight it).

I should be taking meds because Im not mentally well but Ive tried so many meds and none of them work for me.

I also have trouble keeping up with taking them. Ill take them for a while and then get so demotivated and depressed because they arent doing anything for me and stop or majorly slack in taking them

My son @NepGear462 is prescribed meds for his delusions that the "SJWs" are out to get him. He rarely leaves his room, he's so convinced they are waiting for him outside. The truly baffling thing is that he believes he's black and this is their way of calling him a traitor. His mother is highly racist (as I have explained before), and if he was black, she'd have disowned him long ago. As it is, he's as pale as the new fallen snow. He used to tan as a child, but now, I fear he'd just burn.

Seriously. What a fucked up thing to say. There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking psychiatric medication. There is something wrong with implying that there is. And we should be worried about all the people who can't afford, or are too scared to seek help. Attitudes like Hummer's post represent are a problem. It makes people less inclined to support universal health coverage. And it makes people with mental problems embarrassed about acknowledging them and seeking help.

i can't even remember the timing before the seizure or during :(.

that wrecked my lower back for a month. if i had a job i would be in rough shape.
couldn't take the dog out back then without suffering pain, could only carry half my grocery load because it hurt so bad.

I'm Canadian, of course I support universal health care. I never said that there's anything wrong with having a psychiatric condition. I'm just not surprised a large group on CE are afflicted with mental health problems.

Maybe consider upping the dose on your bipolar meds. I don't want my posts to trigger a manic episode.

For the next week I am on antibiotics, and heavy painkillers due to kidney stones (and they don't quite cut it sadly) and for the painkillers I also have to take a stomach protector else it'll mess harshly with my bowels.

So good fun ahead.

Nope, but I do get bad headaches often enough that I always need to keep some ibuprofen handy. Even so, it's neither frequent nor regular enough (not to mention an over-the-counter medicine) to qualify for this poll IMO.

Wellbutrin and Lamictal for bipolar I. I have trazodone I took for insomnia but no more script and it doesn't help as much as it did before.

Been on like 12 different psychiatric meds over the years and this is the only combo that actually works. Was on 800mg Seroquel which kinda ruined my life for a while.
