I was legitimately addicted to Sour Skittles for a long time. I quit cold turkey and didn't have any for like 6 years, and then when I had them again it seemed like they made them less sour. I remember Crybabies and Warheads being way more sour before, too, but now they just taste kind of salty.
I love sour candy but am disappointed by the current de-souring trend. It's like enjoying delicious apple pie your whole life and then suddenly they make it so it's only mildly sweet for the first few seconds and then loses all flavor.
