He also used to tell me Obama fit the description of the Antichrist and he believed it was him. Haha, yeah, my uncle said the exact same stuff. He's super racist, too. Like in addition to saying that black people were better off in slavery, he also argued that residential schools were made up and that the First Nations people should be thankful. Yeah, thats pretty bad. My dad isnt racist like that, just really religious. Sucks you have to put up with hearing that in your own family. Yeah, likewise. Honestly, I'm fine with the religion thing. The first thing I always say is, "I'm glad it fulfills you, but it's just not for me because I don't agree with all the ideas" as politely as possible. He usually keeps it up telling me how it's not faith, but fact (which undermines his argument, if anything, but whatever).
