Even being average to decent looking is beneficial. I'm not saying I'm hot or anything, but I'm pretty good looking. I've been told many times over by women that I seem hard to approach because I'm attractive, I'm reserved and I'm not an idiot. Like.. they were saying that if one of those things were different, I'd be drowning in tang. Long story short, as long as you can look in the mirror and say something like "I don't look bad at all" or "yeah, I'd fuck me", your looks don't matter too much. Everyone's flawed or, rather everyone's imperfect. While you may have easily discernible flaws, the person you're likely looking for should be someone who either doesn't view your flaws as flaws (and might even view them as strengths), someone who accepts said flaws and/or doesn't really care about them in the first place, or someone who is willing and capable of working with them and helps you fix them. Hopefully they're all that and more.
