It's also the best way for file organization on a computer.

I'm used to MM/DD/YYYY, but I feel like DD/MM/YYYY is more correct.

Either DDMMYYYY or YYYYMMDD.

I don't know where anybody got the idea that month day year was a good idea.

You screwed up the ISO 8601 format, TC (it's YYYY/MM/DD). You must commit sudoku to regain your honor.

order of preference
1. YYYY/MM/DD
2. DD/MM/YYYY
3. (everything else)

I order all the music in my computer by albums release dates and there's no way in hell I'm using something other than year month day to organize them >_>; it'd make no sense and it would drive me insane.

I think what makes more logical sense than anything is:

YYYY/MM/DD

I say "the 18th of July 2018" and live in a normal country so DD/MM/YYYY like a normal person

MM/DD/YYYY makes no sense. It'd be like a stop watch of 05:17.45 meaning 17 minutes, 5 seconds, 45 milliseconds.

Like, what the actual fuck at MM/DDDD/YY.

In America, we would say it like July 17th, 2018. So that's how we write it too.
