The buildings are nice, the streets are fucking pristine, there's hardly a weed in sight. Most American cities have crumbling streets and all the buildings are just randomly thrown together, and there's so many chain link fences and empty dirt lots. And there's a surprising amount of wilderness in northern Scotland. I thought "whatever, Britain is just one giant stupid european island with a bazillion people who've never seen ground that hasn't been paved or turned into a lawn" but I was actually impressed. Weather has been glorious sunshine for about a month and I'm sunburnt from spending Sunday in a hedge maze with my kids. Was my bday on Friday and I have money from that to spend but I have no idea what to buy. Found out yesterday may need another surgery on her kidney but the doctors are going to conduct tests over the next 2 months to monitor it as it's a difficult surgery. Wife just got her hair coloured and I don't like it but I don't want to tell her. Sad the world cup has ended but it made me want to start playing again. Just tried to buy fifa but the store will only deliver to my billing address which isn't where I live.
