One character might have to go to the other side of the map from where they started in act 1. These numbers aren't exact and are just me throwing numbers up there but it's to illustrate that it isn't linear at all, and is, in fact, all over the place. If you felt nothing with stories like Primrose or even Ophilia who goes on a massive journey all across the world just so her sister can stay with her dad, I dunno what to tell you.
