Back when I was delivering pizza, every Friday at 5:30 on the dot we got this sweet old lady who ordered our $20 meal deal (large specialty pizza + 2L bottle of pop + sm. caesar salad) for her and her grandkids.
As our other driver typically started at 7, I did this delivery every week. Every week she tipped $20, and every week I was like "are you sure you're okay with that?" She always just nodded and smiled. It was really jarring when she stopped making orders. --- Heee~eeey ... Copied to Clipboard!

because she made the same order every week for 7 of the 8 months i was working there, and apparently she was known to the crew before that.

I gave a $20 tip to the pizza guy when, after I put my order in online, it became a fucking blizzard outside and he only ran 10 minutes later than the estimated delivery time. I felt a little bad afterward because my checking account was slim pickens at the time.
