Facetiousness aside, it's disheartening to think there are actually people who think business is synonymous with government. Like often, their goals are entirely antagonistic.

Like it makes sense from a generalization that republicans would favor businessmen in politics because their policies are more likely to neuter government to pave success for business.

What a lot of people fail to appreciate is that it's not some universal "all business" boon, but rather usually allows for exploitation of that particular business exec/politicians personal financial interests at the expense of other industry.

And when you unravel that you realize republicans aren't for business. They're for their own business and fuck everyone else. I just want them to admit this rather than hide behind some bullshit rationalization.
