About two years ago, I dreamed of a tomato plant. The plant was very sickly, nearly dead, no leaves, barely more than a stem, with three of the biggest, best looking tomatoes I have ever seen. Gigantic, show quality tomatoes.

My wife got pregnant with our third child shortly after the dream, and 1 year ago I became ill. I have an autoimmune form of arthritis that will cause me to suffer and waste away until I die.

I believe that the dream was foreshadowing the birth of my child, and that I would become ill. I also believe that it is suggesting that if I put all of my remaining energy into my children, that they will succeed, even though it will kill me.

I'm ok with that.

Torn between two minds. Is either correct? Perhaps together.....but how? Can it be done?

I'm currently staying with my mom at her friend's house. When we first moved in here, there was always someone sneaking around the house at night, so things were a bit tense each night wondering if they'd try to get in.

Anyway, I'm guessing that's what triggered this dream. In the dream, I was out in the yard in the middle of the night. Just sort of scoping things out from under a light pole in the yard. That's when a big shadow appeared and loomed over me. Something had leaped onto the light pole above me, I looked at its shadow and saw it had a bunch of writhing tentacles all over. So I slowly ducked down to avoid being seen by it and just sat there. That's when something approached me from behind, before I could react it had put my hood up over my head and grabbed me around the neck. It picked me up into the air and began walking towards the house, still carrying me by my neck. As we approached the door, it said "Foolish human, you can't fight against your fate."

That's when I woke up in a panic. lol
It felt so real. I could've sworn I still felt the pain in my neck. It's the first time in a long time that I was legit freaked out by a dream.

The other night I dreamed I was sent back in time to the 1960s. I was waiting in a hallway that was kind of like a school hallway but with chairs lined against both walls. There were people sitting in all of them. We were all waiting for our turn, but a turn at what I don't know. I was sitting next to some guy that worked with Jimi Hendrix so I played him a cover version of I Don't Live Today to prove that I was from the future. I had the option of trying to save Hendrix but I think my mission was to make sure everything happened the way it was supposed to. I had been in this hallway in other dreams but it was usually empty. I think this must have been some sort of metaphor for the music I've been struggling to finish writing lately. Time is passing, other people are moving ahead and behind me and I'm stuck waiting in the same spot.

At some point I got further up the line, but there wasn't really anything at the end but a few sets of doors. There were glass doors leading outside, a small room with a hospital bed before that and then another set of doors leading into the hall. There was a girl sitting on the bed and everyone at the front of the line was staring at her and making the "dat butt" face every time it became visible. It was funny because every time I went toward the other end of the hall I would see them randomly making the face, and then I'd go rushing up to see what was happening and there were like three or four people with fantastic butts on full display while they were working on whatever. It was like something from a sitcom. I think this part of the dream was just a manifestation of my love of butts and how the good ones are often tragically out of view.

I finally made it to that small room at the front. There was a glass wall with a bunch of cats on display behind it like at a pet store adoption center. I had to think about the meaning of the cats but I realized there were in that "between" spot because my cat can never decide if he wants to go inside or outside. Plus they had full view of the butts that were on display but they were behind the glass, sad and alone and waiting for someone to love them.

I woke up before I could exit the main doors.

I dreamt years ago that I was being chased through a rusty, abandoned oil rig by zombies that wanted to stab me with hypodermic needles.

Told my friend about that one (he has a phobia of needles) and he told me he hates my brain.

I had a dream a week or two ago that I ran into Judd Apatow while he and his wife were on vacation. He confided in me that he was really hoping to bring back either wild elk meat or freshly caught ahi tuna to his brother in California. I told him I'd see what I could do to make that happen. The rest of the dream was him repeatedly calling me while I was in the middle of working/cooking/etc. asking if I had gotten the elk or ahi yet. I stopped answering his calls and then his wife started calling from a different number asking the same questions. I woke up not long after that.

I used to have the same dream every few weeks.

I was tied/fastened on this giant spinning thing crucifix style that would slowly spin around, i could see ppl below me but i couldnt understand what they were saying.

When it stopped spinning i would die. But i always woke up after it stopped.

Were you unhappy about the move? The creature could represent your mom or whomever necessitated the move, or even life in general, forcibly taking you to that house.

Another one from long ago. In this one i lived in some type of building in the ocean, it was built on stilts and "floated" on top of the ocean. I ran a shop there and for doing so got free room and board. It was great and fun, until one day a storm hit which snapped one of the stilts, which tilted the whole building sideways before snapping the other ones. Everyone was scrambling to climb out when it just collapsed into the ocean. I was still caught indoors as I couldn't climb out fast enough. Everything was spinning around, the room turned upside down, junk was flying everywhere. Then suddenly I was underwater with no idea which way was up or where the exit was, it was just total darkness and I was being dragged down to the bottom of the ocean, and I just knew it was the end.

Then I woke up from that, relieved to have air to breathe.

Probably was more about life in general, moving here was fantastic, but now we've gotta leave by August. :/
