his parents keep him pretty sheltered. I think his only exposure to super hero media is the Lego Batman games, and the movies they made based on that. But I know he really likes spiderman

9 is ok for most kids. Some parents are super sheltering of their kids and nothing will convince them otherwise.

I think I mostly blame his mom and my brother just kinda goes along with it. she's really against violence. she doesn't watch much violent stuff herself. she has never seen the Lord of the Rings movies for example just cause it has fighting in it ... My son has been watching them since he was like 5 lol. He loves iron man. We watched the avengers together like 20 times.
