I say this thinking about how they were able to write a consistent storyline for a character who was completely separate from the main cast.
Francis was a good character who had interesting storylines that easily flowed into the main family when needed. Can't think of many sitcoms that were able to do this. ... Copied to Clipboard!

The last episode was still fucked up no matter how you slice it. Lois is a hardworking mother, but that doesn't mean she is a good one. The kids are dysfunctional messes because the parents are too.

Yeah thats a very interesting observation. Francis is Almost always off doing his own thing and its always entertaining. Its one of the many credits to the show how well each piece works
