I believe it is ridiculous that to eat good natural food, meat, vegetable, etc we have to pay way more than food with chemicals, injection, artificial diet, etc.

It is ridiculous that to be able to call them organic it requires to have a expensive license and strict rules such as having a small garden which limits the size of how much vegetable it can go.

I am sure many centuries or even millennium ago food, vegetable, meat, etc having chemicals, injection, artificial diet didnt exist.

This what I think any food, meat, vegetable, etc that are given chemicals, injections like hormone injection, artificial diet like giving cows meat to eat, should not be allowed. Get rid of the whole organic label and make that the default and get rid of garbage.

Anything like giving cows hormones inject, unnatural diet by feeding cows meat, spraying chemicals on vegetable shouldnt be allowed.

But even organic farmers spray chemical pesticide on their crops too. Pesticides that haven't been genetically altered to make better and less harmful to the plant.

I did not know that to be honest, thanks for letting know. I seen apple that were green inside, I read it was due to the pesticides. Some apple were green and very bitter in taste.

as for TC: it's not like the farmers do this non-organic stuff just for fun. They do it because these sorts of things let them produce more food in less time/space/etc than they would otherwise. As population grows, we need more and more efficient methods of production which is why just saying something like "they didn't have it 1000 years ago we don't need it now" doesn't really work.

If you're particularly interested in organic food I definitely recommend starting up your own garden if possible, it doesn't need to be that big to provide a decent amount of food for a single person and you won't have to worry about all these chemicals and etc because they're not really necessary on a small scale

Almost all cultivated food is genetically modified by human agricultural activities over the course of centuries if not millennia. The only thing that's really changed now is the pace of modification.

increased production is meaningless if it's poorly distributed (as it currently is)

yeah, sure, I can agree with that. I meant it more in the sense of farms from a few hundred years ago probably not being able to keep up with modern demand.

Pretty hard to grow something that isn't a GMO, since you know? The centuries of work humanity did to genetically modify our crops so they can grow faster, stronger and more bountiful. Everything is a GMO already, you would need to find a new type of crop to grow at this point.
